It was a very brief presentation. At a dinner to celebrate our first AGM last week (the first greyhares blog Talking ’bout my generation was posted on 3rd December 2009), Jeanette, our chair, announced how pleased she was that both she and greyhares had survived the year, a state in which she was keen for both to remain for the forseeable future. Later in the evening, she noted that in our first year we had published many many blogs, which had covered widely diverse topics – though details at this stage had become a little murky.
Our chair then asked that we thank our subscribers by making each of them an offer – a sort of Christmas cracker – a copy of our popular weekly update sent free to a friend (or otherwise) of their choice. Signing up is really easy, just send us the name and email address of your friend (or otherwise) via the contact us page and we will do the rest – no need for payment.
As to the future – we do not plan to change the greyhares format unless we receive persuasive requests to this effect from our reader. In the meantime, we thank you personally for supporting the experiment.
Al West and Joe Collier.
